An introduction to the higher end divers in the Fifty Fathoms? line, this timepiece has an interesting story to it in that it was created when a reader wrote to the company, expressing his concern in the materials used across several brands, specifically radiation. Recognizing this concern, Blancpain aimed to create a piece that showcased the lack of unsafe materials present in their watches. They did that the only way they knew how, by the means of a large colorful stamp, in yellow and red, with lines crossing through the radiation trefoil symbol, reading No Radiations? on the dial, Pretty clear huh? Limited to 500 pieces, this was made in two case variants, a 40mm and a 45.5mm, this is the ladder and has become quite collectible in its own right. A polished case and sapphire throughout, this watch gives off a nice patina that any enthusiast would be privileged to wear!
